"Huntsville" means more than the city limits
When people say Huntsville, they usually mean Madison County and everything ringing it. The city itself has the widest range of homes; Madison sits to the west toward the Arsenal's western gates and Cummings Research Park; Meridianville, Hazel Green and New Market stretch north with bigger lots and lots of new construction; Harvest and Toney grow to the northwest; and Athens in Limestone County has its own downtown with a straight shot into town.
How relocation buying works with me

- Short list by commute. Tell me where you'll work. We'll narrow communities by drive time, lot size and budget.
- Live video tours. I walk homes for you on video — the real condition, the street, the noise, the drive.
- Negotiate and inspect. I'm there in person for inspections, repairs and the final walk-through.
- Close remotely if needed. Many closings can be signed ahead of time or with a mobile notary.
Timing a move
If you're renting first, fine — but know that builders' quick-move-in homes and a well-timed rate lock can let you buy right away. We'll line up your closing date with your start date.

Yes. Once you're preapproved, I tour homes for you live on video, send detailed notes and handle inspections in person. Many relocating buyers visit once for a focused weekend, or not at all until closing.
Where do people who work at Redstone Arsenal live?
Everywhere around it. Madison and west Huntsville put you closest to the western gates; south Huntsville and the Hwy 231/431 corridor communities like Meridianville and Hazel Green work well for other gates. Commute, budget and lot size usually decide it.
How long does it take to buy after I move?
If you're preapproved and know your range, a typical purchase takes about 30–45 days from finding the house to closing. New construction can be faster with a quick-move-in home, or longer for a build from scratch.
